I watch a lot of Disney vlogs on Youtube. I have followed them for a few years now. It started with Disneyland and then I started to follow more Disney World vloggers once we moved back to the East coast. I was watching Mr. Cheezy Pop and I saw him eat Gideon’s coffee cake cookie and I decided I needed to get my hands on those.

Depending on what time of the year or even what time of the day you go to Disney Springs Gideon’s will probably have a line or be doing the virtual cue. The virtual cue is nice if they have a long wait because you give them your name and then go about your business shopping and such until you can go back and get your cookies. or cake. or coffee… I have never personally experienced the virtual cue and have usually waited in about an hour or so line to get cookies and coffee.

These cookies are HUGE. The cookies are almost half a pound! I recently read an interview with the owner and creator of Gideon’s cookies. He said that it took him 15 years to perfect the chocolate chip cookie recipe. That’s AMazing and it shows in the taste!

When you are waiting in line for the cookies you will be given a little light reading. A Gideon’s employee clad in all black will hand you the current months menu. It’s a cute little card with an illustration on one side and the menu on the other. They are great to collect.

They also have a monthly nitro cold brew flavor along with the regular nitro cold brew flavors. In that same interview he said that it took him years to perfect the cold brew recipe. It shows. The interview is very interesting and worth the read. I’ll link it at the end of the blog.

During our last trip the monthly flavor was French toast and it was delicious. It’s probably a good thing that I don’t live closer or way too much of my money would be spent on Gideon’s Nitro cold brew (and cookies).

Its a very funky vibe inside and it is tiny. It’s pretty much Halloween all year long at Gideon’s.
